Starting in Family Law, some of Emily\u2019s most defining moments in her career were moments of bringing families the support they needed during a difficult time within the legal system. This includes helping a grandmother regain visitation with her granddaughter after three years of no contact, as well as advocating for a mother\u2019s right to provide the mental health care needed for her child.\u00a0 Experiences like these have reinforced Emily\u2019s commitment to achieving meaningful results for her clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Kansas City native, Emily grew up in Overland Park and later returned to practice in her hometown community. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, cooking and baking, tackling DIY projects, painting, and hosting friends and family.
